A320 Family
The airbus A320 family consists of short to medium range commercial twin engine jet airliners. The family consists of four variants, the A320, A318, A319 and A321. The A320's are also named A320ceo (current engine option). However, the recently introduced A320 Neo (new engine option) is more efficient. The A320 was released in March 1984 and was delivered in March 1988 to launch customer, Air France. In 1992 the Airbus A321, the largest member of the A320 family was introduced. In 1994 the aircraft was delivered to it's launch customer, Lufthansa. 2 years later the A319, a smaller variant of the A320 family was released. Then in 2003 the smallest member of the A320 family was announced: A318. This aircraft could only seat 132 passengers. Despite this, it has become a successful launch of Airbus
