a300 a310

The Airbus A300 was the first aircraft to be manufactured by Airbus. It was a widebody twin engine jet airliner capable of seating 266 passengers. The plane was formally announced in 1969 and was first flying in October 1972. The launch customer for this exciting jet was Air France.

In 1982 Airbus released their second aircraft, the A310. The A310 had no difference to it's predecessor, except that it was smaller. The A310 could seat only 220 passengers. The A310's launch customer was SwissAir. In 2007 Airbus ceased all operations with the two aircraft
